What about accommodation?
We only use top quality independent and Youth Hostel Association hostels, mostly 3 and 4 stars.
We guarantee dorm bed accommodation in mixed shared rooms for 2, max. 6 persons.
Hostels are fully equipped. In most of them you can find a shop, restaurant, self-catering kitchen, dining room, lounge and TV lounge, games room and garden. Hostels provide free linen so you don't need a sleeping bag. All comply with safety regulations.
When meal is not part of the package, it can be order in the hostel (always one day in advance). You can use hostel’s shop as well or cook in fully equipped self-catering kitchen.
Credit/debit cards are usually accepted but it is always best to bring some cash just in case.
Is a sleeping bag or towel required?
A sleeping bag is not required as all hostels provide linen. It is a good idea to bring a towel although some hostels do rent them.
What about food?
When meal is not part of the package hostels have self-catering and some of them offer excellent meal for Ł5 - Ł9 (meals need to be order one day in advance). There is also plenty of opportunity to eat out at local pubs, cafes or restaurants.
What about transport?
At Minty we travel, for most of our trips, with comfortable trains, friendly taxis and local buses. It´s quick, comfortable and eco-friendly. And you won´t be stuck in the traffic.
If there are engineering works we can't guarantee a seat reservation.
